If you have Skype on your computer, you may have noticed that sometimes Skype automatically highlights phone numbers when you visit a website. From a WordPress developer point of view, this can be very frustrating. Not only can it make your site look bad, but it can also mess up the design. In fact, we recently had a client whose page was broken because Skype highlighted his phone number. Fixing this problem is not very difficult. All you have to do is add some code to the header of your HTML document and it will prevent Skype from highlighting the numbers in your theme, no matter what browser it is displayed in.
