Transparent background leaving a smooth, blended edge with Wondershare PixCut

SummaryStep 1Step 2Step 3Step 4Step 5

Cutting out the base of an image is time-consuming work, but the results are amazing. I cut out about 60 foundations every week and the kid runs out. I used to cut out the foundations by taking the polygon attachment device and choosing the edges of the element I planned to keep and then transforming the determination.

Doing this resulted in extremely hard edges. When I put them on an archive for print or for the web you could in any case see the background in certain spaces of the image. To solve this problem, I created a method that leaves the image with a delicate blended edge. This procedure takes a lot of patients, but you will be satisfied with the results of the closure. This procedure uses Wondershare PixCut.

Step 1

To start, you'll start by choosing an image that you might want to cut out for the foundation. Open it in PixCut.

Step 2

Next, make the foundation a layer and name it "image", then at this point create two separate layers and locate them behind the image layer. Fill one of the layers with black and the other with white. It doesn't matter which is dark and which is white, as these layers are used to see the heaviest and lightest spaces from the edge of the items.

Step 3

Now select the Lasso instrument from the device bar and follow the item you will keep. NOTE:Do not choose the genuine edge of the item. Come out about 8px to 10px from the edge. When you're done, rearrange your choice and hit clear. You will currently see that your experience is dark or white. Depending on how dark the edge is, you need to determine which base coat to use. I usually start with black and go side to side with white.

Step 4

Alright, you are currently ready to eradicate the rest of the foundation. Select a size 45 delicate edge eraser device and make a brush size of 10px. Start removing the entrance foundation from a region similar to the one you started by following the article with the Lasso instrument. You can use your alternate route key [or] to measure the Eraser device up or down. Scale the eraser to 5px and run the device again along the edge of the article until you see the foundation erasing before your eyes.

Step 5

By the time you have completed step 4, take the mist instrument and run it along the edges using a 3px sized device. Stay along the outside of the edge and watch the edge blend with the white or dark foundation. When you're done, discard the white and dark foundation and save your cut image in .tiff format with a plain foundation.

You currently have a cut image saved with a simple base that you can use in your document.
