On its longer side, there is a button that you can click to check the power level of the power bank. And, of course, the light at the top will flash to show how much power is left. Each light is equivalent to 25% power. The image below shows that there is 75% power level in the power bank.
One thing you need to consider is that when there is only one flashing light, it could mean a remaining charge as low as 2% or as high as 25%. You'll have to guess if the remaining charge is enough to last all day. Otherwise, you'll have to pack a bulky paperweight on your trip.
The power bank comes with a 50% charge out of the box, and I still managed to charge my phone twice (from 30% to 100%) before it died.
Recharging the power bank takes about nine hours (yes, that's quite a long time), but I managed to charge my phone six times before it needed recharging.
For my OnePlus 5T, it took about 90 minutes to go from 30% to 100%. It was faster than using a normal charger (about fifteen to thirty minutes faster) to charge my phone.
The only thing I like about this power bank is that it doesn't get hot. I've used it to charge my headphones and phone together, and it's always been cool as usual.
With a power rating of 72.36 Wh, which is below the 100 Wh limit of most flights, you can pack this power bank in your carry-on. You cannot leave it in checked baggage, however.
